Add a Publisher
A publisher is the company or organisation that produces the book. Before you can add any book, you need at least one publisher in the system.
- Go to Publishers in the sidebar.
- Click + Add, type the publisher name, and save.
- The platform checks for duplicates automatically.
Add a Board
A board is the education authority that the book follows — for example CBSE, ICSE, or a State board. Each board has a short code and a full description.
- Go to Boards in the sidebar.
- Click + Add, enter the board code (e.g. CBSE) and the full description.
- The board code must be unique.
Create a Book Mapping
Book mapping ties a book together with all its details — which publisher made it, which board it follows, what grade and subject it is for, and so on.
- Go to Book Mapping in the sidebar.
- Click + Add and fill in all the details:
- Choose the publisher and board from the dropdowns.
- Enter the book name, nick name, state, grade, subject, medium and ISBN.
Build the Table of Content
The table of content defines the structure of a book — what units it has, what chapters are inside each unit, and what lessons are in each chapter.
- Go to Table of Content in the sidebar.
- Click + Add and select the book from the dropdown.
- Fill in the unit number, unit name, chapter number, chapter name, and lesson number.
- Add one entry for every lesson in the book.
Add Content
Content is the actual learning material — a link to a video, document, or web page — attached to a specific lesson in the table of content.
- Go to Content in the sidebar.
- Click + Add and choose the table of content entry (lesson) this content belongs to.
- Enter the page number, paste the content link, select the medium, and enter the lesson number.
- The link will appear as a clickable URL in the content list.
